Four things you do by hand today

Every payment with its invoice

Import your bank statement and your e-Fatura export. Sure matches link themselves, doubtful ones wait for you, and the suggestions learn from each vendor.

What the company owes you

Company invoices you paid with your own money, and the shareholder loan account, by year and in total.

Your IRC before December

Profit without VAT so far and projected to year end, with depreciation and VAT by quarter, early enough to decide on a purchase.

Receipts from a photo

Photograph the receipt with your phone. The QR code is read, the photo cropped and straightened, and the receipt filed with the right invoice.

Online and foreign purchases, without forwarding emails

A purchase made online or abroad never shows up in e-Fatura, and only counts as an expense with its receipt. Usually that means digging PDFs out of your inbox and sending them to your accountant one by one.

Here they have a list of their own for each year, every purchase with its receipt beside it. Drop all the PDFs at once and each finds the payment with the same total and a nearby date. What's still missing is marked, and your accountant logs in with their own access and sees the same list.

Getting started takes an afternoon

  1. Export your bank movements, as CSV or Excel, from any bank.
  2. Export your invoices from e-Fatura, on the Portal das Finanças.
  3. Upload both, then review what didn't match on its own.

Questions

Does it connect to my bank?
No. You upload your bank movements whenever you like; the app never has access to your account. It reads any bank's export, CSV or Excel, and the MT940 and camt.053 statements banks give companies. The first file from a new bank is shown before it goes in, so you can check it reads right.
Does it replace my accountant?
No. It does your part, gathering invoices, receipts and payments, so your accountant gets tidy books, with no attachments to chase, and you know the numbers before they do.
What happens when the beta ends?
We'll tell you well before, with the price. Nothing is charged unless you choose to continue; if you don't, the account is closed and you can ask for your data or for it to be deleted.
